History

The vision of Monarch Leadership came to Gina, Monarch's founder, while on a mission trip in Argentina, when the children she had been helping presented her with the gift of a butterfly key-chain. Gina learned from a fellow traveler the significance of what a monarch butterfly represents - resiliency, adaptability and transformation - and how butterflies were prized in the concentration camps in World War II, as they represented hope for a better future.

Monarch butterflies have the ability to adapt and thrive within diverse environments. And like all butterflies, they experience a marvelous transformation from caterpillar to mature Monarch. This trip to Argentina and the gift of the butterfly key-chain inspired Gina to launch Monarch Leadership and to develop leaders who will positively transform the social and economic state of our world.
