Gina Kellogg-Soleil, MA, Founder & CEO

Gina has spent over 15 years in leadership roles within organizations that include Caribou Coffee Company and Best Buy. She has led teams in training and development, business development, sales and retail operations, and serves on the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization. Gina has a Masters in Organizational Leadership, and is certified in Applied Leadership Studies, Supervisory Leadership Skills, Training Facilitation and Women in Leadership.

What about Monarch Leadership are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of Monarch's commitment to emerging leaders. The new and mid-level leaders of today are brilliant, and providing them a solid management and leadership foundation is what's vital to our community's organizations. From business results to social responsibility, it's the young leaders of today that are going to transform, grow and renew our organizations.

What specific strengths do you bring to the Monarch leadership team?
I am a visionary by nature and am extremely passionate in everything I do. I have the strength and the talent to develop the people around me, and seeing them achieve inspires me.

Describe your ideal Saturday afternoon.
Spending all afternoon with my daughter at the beach playing, and going out for ice cream afterwards!

What book do you think everyone needs to read?
The Servant Leader and Leadership and the New Science. Aside from those recommendations, I think that everyone should have a book in their lives - and this will be different for everyone - that inspires them and helps them to appreciate life.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? What would you do there?
Somewhere in South America. I have already been to Argentina, and I love it there. I'd love to go back. I would want to live there and become a local, get a job and explore everything about the culture and the life there.
